Looking for Charles Webber born 1800 or 1799 and wife Phoebe who immigrated to us in 1841 on Cosmos.  Would like to find marriage  information and perhaps parents.  Phoebe seemed to have Westlake and Glover as two of her married names before Charles.  Husband is GGGrandson of Charles.

there is no Charles Webber marriage to Phoebe on www.freebmd.org.uk from start of record 1837 to 1841 when they emigrated - so we presume they married pre 1837 ...

I cant find the Christenings of Charles webber or Phoebe Glover on FreeREG or Familysearch.Org.
It may be worth keeping an eye on FreeREg though as new records are being added all the time.
Charles Webber, I pressume yours as he could write, was a Witness to a few Marriages before 1841 in KE, Somerset.

As a Jane Webber was a Witness at Charles/Phoebes Marriage I tried to ook for her on 1841 Census and this one stood out;

John may be Janes Husband.
They may be Charles Parents.
Just posting all of this as if Baptisms can be found for Jane/Claudia we may able to trace further back.
Jane/Claudia may be Jane age 73 in 1841 Census's Grand/Daughters.

Charles aged 39 in 1841 when they emigrate
Phoebe is 21 .....so she is 10 in 1830 when Charles Webber and Phoebe Glover marry ??
so - is this his daughter by a previous marriage that happens to have the same christian name as the woman he marries ?

Hi garsonite,
It is confusing but I presumed it just may be a mistranscription of Phoebes age. The 2 in 21 is not as exact as other 2's on the page.
Trees have Phoebe born 1803 and dying 31 AUG 1857 in Grandview Twp, Washington County, Ohio.
I cant access the 1850 Ohio Census on Familysearch to confirm Phoebes age.

1851 Robert says he is born c 1807 Somerset, occp Shoemaker (Cordwainer). Age is hard to read.

There must be a connection as in 1861 Census Robert/Charlotte have a Grandson WINFORD born 1855 Stoke Abbott, Dorset with them.
They are living in Stoke Abbott 1851/1861 Census.
Roberts age is still out but everything else seems to add up?

Walter Webber Married Anne Staples 1857 Beaminster (FreeBMD) but a Tree has Walter 1855's Birth Cert, no Father named, Mother Ann Staples.
