I am urgently looking for information on my great-grandfather, Werner Charles Rudolph Aue, born 8 June 1891 in London and died 6 September 1977 also in London
I want to know as much as I possibly can about his life, especially when he was serving in the armed forces in India, when he went to Germany and when he started working in the Foreign Office in Germany. I've been told he went from India to Germany to marry my great-grandmother and start employ in the Foreign Office. But no one knows the exact dates.
My grandmother was born in Hanover, Germany in 1924. Her sister was born in 1926 and passed away last year in 2013.
Any help will be greatly appreciated
