Arthur Donald Howard

Hi there,
Can anyone help me with any info for a Arthur Donald Howard believed to be born in Horsham abt.
1913 and married a Sylvia Mary Galvin born about 1925. They lived at some time in Balranald, NSW. I don't know details of their parents or if they had children or where they died.

May I please ask if you have a copy of the NSW BDM's marriage cert for the couple you have named.  The online index has the marriage as 1947, registered in the Balranald district.   From that document (or the cheaper version, the official transcription) you will learn the details about the bride and the groom, their ages, occupations, places of birth, usual addresses, their parents including their respective mother's nee names, and other details the couple provided at the time of their marriage.

If there were children of the marriage, then if they were born in NSW, you will NOT find their births indexed online.   This is because there are restrictions regarding the access to non historic BDM records.     In NSW the restrictions stop members of the general public from accessing birth registrations for 100 years, marriage registrations for 50 years and death registrations for 30 years.

You have indicated that you do not know when they died.   It is of course entirely possible that either or both are still alive.   So, you may need to do some offline research before proceeding much further.   

Are these people related to you?  If so, then perhaps you may need to contact your own relatives to establish further details about them, to see who would be eligible to obtain any restricted NSW BDM certs.  I cannot see a death registration at NSW BDM online index (to 31 Dec 1983)  for either of them.    I cannot see a death/funeral notice indexed at Ryerson for either of them either.

Arthur Levi Howard divorced Ruth in 1903, so Arthur Donald must be born from a 2nd marriage.
