The Robson name was so difficult to trace because the War Memorial had transposed his initials

I only found out after seeing a grave stone for a Mary Jane Robson at Christ Church. Her and her husband William had a son George William (not the W G engraved). Mary Jane died in 1906, at the time William was manager at Hanham colliery. Her probate index says she lived at Tenby House, Hanham, but it seems that this no longer exists.
William re-married and died in Bishop Auckland.
