Have you the new church to see if they have any photos or the local news paper for information?

Thats an idea, although it was called the new church it was built in 1863! The older church was in the Parish of Moville Upper whereas the 'new' church was in Lower Moville, but as Presbyterians don't follow the Parish system not sure why both churches remained open together for so long but I suppose before the days of mass transport most would have walked to their place of worship but the churches were just over 2 miles apart!
