I think I may have worked it out.
As Old Bristolian said, Maybe the registrar wrote the name down wrong.
I suppose Rhace or Rhaece does bear a resemblance to Rassa.

Agree - from the 2nd image it looks like "Rhace" - an attempt to capture Rassa?.

Have seen it recorded as "Rhasau" - with the "Rh".

Ras or rhas (plural rasau/rhasau) = thread or layer of ore etc OR race (of water)

'r = definite article (the)

mwyn = mine; mineral; ore
