I am also interested in Luxtons. My branch begins and currently ends also with Charity Luxton (b 1785) who married George Squire in 1809 in Heavitree, Exeter,  Devon.
Charity died of fever in the local workhouse in 1838, and her children were apprenticed out.

Have you come across the book Earth to Earth by John Cornwell, a true story about the Luxtons of Winkleigh who were found dead in 1975 in their remote and rural farm. There is a fair amount of 'family tree' in the book, tracing the Luxton family from Robert Luxton (of Brushford) who died 1753.

If nothing else it is an interesting story and brings up some fascinating facts about the Luxton family who often married their own first cousins.
