« on: Monday 05 May 14 11:48 BST (UK) »
Hi

I have traced a branch of my family to Switzerland and would be grateful if someone could tell me what this person's occupation is : -

De Lugnore (canton de Fribourg) (Cloutier)

Many Thanks

Cloutier = nailer/nail maker.

If it says after the the name that the person is "de Lugnorre", it means that the family's official origin is Lugnorre, a village in the district of Haut-Vully, and the local register office should hold their records.

http://www.haut-vully.ch/fr/administration.asp/4-0-87-3-1-1/ - postal address and telephone number, but no e-mail listed.
