Passenger Lists--Londson c. 1800's
« on: Saturday 25 June 05 10:13 BST (UK) »
Hi, my Polish relatives arrived in London, from Kalish in Russian Poland, sometime between 1800 and 1850.

Does anybody know what port they would have departed from and what are the best websites to search for passenger lists?

                    Thanks       Trevor

Hi Trevor
My Husbands family come from Ukraine and Russia, we are using a Web site to find out info called.  Ukrainian centre of geneology. once you subscribe which is free everyone that are members see and receive your emails for help, someone may be able to help they have people searching polish ancestry and russian in the site so im sure it may be helpful. There is also a lady in Canada who has a Geneology talk back show who is very informative with migration from that region. She actually migrated to Australia originally on the same boat as my Husbands Grandfather.
Her name is Irene she has a  web site also which could be helpful but ill let her direct you to that ive forgotten the name. her contact email is iej43@xmission.com
Good Luck
