Hi

Following some great info from Kezia, I have been able to follow it up and trace more parts to my family. I am now looking to find a burial of Joseph Edwards and or Henry Edwards in or around Timworth, Flempton, Tuddenham between about 1740 and 1751. This is so that I can possibly work out whose widow Stephen Goldsmith married in 1751 at Timworth.

This any good?

Henry Edwards  8th November 1747  St Catherine  Flempton cum Hengrave. No age given.

A Mary Edwards was also buried there 31st October 1748.

Thanks for that, not sure if it helps. It doesn't by any chance say that Mary is a widow. Does this vicar usually state if the person is a widow. I'm thinking it could be a child of Henry seeing as ages are not given.

Of the 12 burials recorded when I just put in Edwards and no years, 5 were children and had their ages, 2 adults had ages and the rest nothing. It might tell you more in the parish records if anyone has access.
