I need help with 2 words from a German death registration from 1821.

Image 1 is found at the bottom of the document in the left had column where you find the surname of the deceased.  It is also opposite to where marriages of the deceased are mentioned.

Image 2 comes after the time of death which is 1 o'clock in the afternoon.

Thought it may help with the translation of Image 2 if I put up the whole line where the word is found. (image 3)

I have been drawing at straws as to what Image 1 may say and originally thought that it may have been a signature.  However, the first stroke looks rather like a number 1 when you look at the number 1 in image 3 so now I am wondering if it may relate to the first marriage.  Could the word be     

- 1   Heische - 

which means the first marriage (husband) died of an inflammation?

Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.

had another look at your images. It is always very difficult to decipher just a few words. Might be easier to copy the whole entry with headings.

What does the word under  your image 1 say, is it a new entry? In image 3 the next line seems to begin with the same letter or number.

The word in image 2 is wurde.

... nachmittags um 1 Uhr und wurde beerdigt ...

The first word eludes me. Can you show more of the text above the undecipherable word? I need to see the full context.

Thanks for your help.

The unknown word lies in the left hand column underneath the death rego number and surname of the deceased (see image already posted).

The document gives the name of the doctor who certified the death, the time of death, the deceased name, the name of her current husband and profession, then the name of her father and his profession.
The next part tells of the deceased's prior marriage which I have reposted with extra information.

At first I though the unknown word may have been the name of the person who made the death/burial entry but the first letter/digit looked like the number 1 found in the document several times so I though it may refer to the first marriage with the word "Heische" (first husband died of an inflammation).

I still can't work it out.

The first letter, after the numeral 1, is a K, not an H. But that doesn't help much either.

Where did this person live, marry and die?

Hi Justin,

The person was born in Giessen and died in Frankfurt am Main. I haven't yet obtained a marriage record (still on my list to do) but the family seemed to live around the Frankfurt am Main area.
