died 1907 Bega, Australia

The surname Quinlan is found in a few parts of King's County or Offaly as it is now known.

Where did you get the reference to Roscrea ?

I have just checked IFHF

and there are the following births to a Michael Quinlan and Mary Tracey in County Offaly

Michael 1831 (listed as Mick)
Marianne 1833
Eliza 1836
William 1836
Johanna 1838
Patrick 1839
Margaret 1842
Catherine 1845

All were baptised in Kilcolman RC Church Offaly

Marriage and baptisms for that church only go back to 1830, so you were lucky to have gotten Michael there but it means that you won't find his parent's marriage.
