The Roscrea reference was from my aunty who visited Roscrea a number of years ago

Hi There

Just so you know, Roscrea is on the border of Tipperary and Offaly - there is a Roscrea in both counties so your Aunt was obviously referring to the Offaly one.

Roscrea Offaly is only 15 minutes from Kilcolman - so given the way borders and parishes change over the years your Quinlans could have been referred to under either area at any given time.

Hope that makes sense.

Burial Records are very rare for that time period and I don't know the area that well, but might be worth trying to get in touch with the Parish.
