George RUSSELL marriage in Malta ca1860

Hello:  One of my ancestors, George RUSSELL, born 1840 St. George Hanover Square, Middlesex, England, married a Margaret Unknown ca1860 in Malta.  She was born there in 1844.  Their son Henry George William Robert RUSSELL was born in Malta in 1861.  By 1871 the family was back in Middlesex in the Hammersmith and Chiswick area.  I am unaware of any other children and the family do not appear in any census after 1891.

George RUSSELL was a house painter by trade and I cannot find him in the military which might have helped explain his presence in Malta.

I have searched the Malta Family History website without finding him as well as Findmypast.co.uk.  Do I have any other options in finding the marriage of George and Margaret?
