Ilford - Buckingham Road Cemetary burial records where to find ?

I have a burial register entry for my 3xgreat grandfather Daniel Ross MRCS that states he had funeral service at St Paul's Shadwell and was "buried at Ilford Cemetery" on 23rd June 1877.  Given Buckingham Rd opened in 1881 I'm assuming that's the one he is buried in.  Does anyone know who to contact or where I can possibly get a burial plot number and a layout map for the cemetery ?

I do have some recollection of news stories that this cemetery had quite a level of grave re-use in more recent decades so there may be nothing to find but its worth a try...

Oddly I used to pass by the cemetery every day on the train when I lived in Ilford and worked in the City in late 80s without any idea I had an ancestor buried there

Mea culpa     ...1877 is before 1881    have contacted the City of London cemetery at Aldersbrook Rd instead.

If you don't hear from them or they want to charge let me know and I will asap go and look in their records I don't live far from the cemetery

Thanks Jolee.  I've heard some do charge    meanwhile others such as Reading sent me the information and a scan of the actual original hand drawn plots map without any charge.

Found a working link to their charges leaflet..... £25 to look up a record with the exact date, they are truly taking the proverbial
