Sixmilecross Anderson's
« on: Wednesday 04 June 14 01:29 BST (UK) »
James Anderson went to the states (reluctantly) in 1690. His son Patrick was a Major with Washington during the Revolution, his grandson (Issac) was a member of Congress for the La Purchase and his granddaughter was the grandmother of one of Pa.'s most popular Governors.  With that being said, the rest of the family, settled in Sixmilecross, Tyrone.  Any support to find the family which stayed?

G'day LarryPa
I'm not sure if your query on the Anderson family residing in the Cross has been answered. However I can probably put you in the right direction to show the definitive history. My cousin Norah has within the past couple of days put on Amazon her family book "Anderson of Flush and Bawn Sixmilecross Co Tyrone 1543 to 1977. This is the 2nd edition. The original edition 1900 was by Robert Hall Anderson my GG Uncle. Should you be a member of this Anderson family you will find it invaluable in your research.
