« on: Wednesday 04 June 14 16:03 BST (UK) »
Could anyone help & advise me how I can find out where someone is buried. James Slack of Langley Macclesfield Cheshire died in 1898.I know the date he died, I know where he died, I have the inquest report, and he is not buried in the local church yard with his wife Margaret.  I am now at a full stop, and would like to know if there is any way I can find the burial place. thank you

Hi Eileen

In the first instance, you should contact Cheshire East Council's Bereavement Services and give them all the details that you have.

There is a list of the cemeteries they manage here along with contact details.
