Birth years for two children

  Hi all, can some one please tell me the birth years of two of the children
of my maternal great grandparents, they married Middlesbrogh 1881, they were
William McIntosh &  Margaret Murphy,

Margaret McIntosh claimed to have had 4 children but only two survived they were
John William McIntosh &  Nora McIntosh, i have the 1881 census but cant quite make his age out,
then Nora McIntosh { my maternal grandmother } what year was she born.
if any birth years or names for other four children i would appreciate information.

Suggest you look at www.freebmd.org.uk and review births and deaths for McIntosh in the location and years that they would be producing children.
One possiblity might be a John William registered in Middlesborough in 1898, but he seems to have died in 1902 which does not fit with your theory that John William survived.
Could not find Nora in Middlesborough but there were possibilities in other nearby locations.
Possibilities for the deceased children include:
- George died 1909 age 8
- Maggie Louise died 1904 age 4
- William died died 1895 age 4
There are also some deaths where the age is not shown.

umm ignore the posting above found that Charles born    11 April 1746 Scotland ..Correct Parents names but obviously ay to early for your couple.

That Nora Russell McIntosh died unmarried in Sussex so can't be yours.

Thanks folks, hi again groom, yes thats my McIntosh's in 1904, so Nora would have been born
1896, think she died 1937, as for John William McIntosh i'm looking at the 1881 census and it looks like a 4 which would make him born 3 yrs before parents married but its hard to make out, the address for the 1881 census is Middle st, perhaps some one could have alook at John W McIntosh's age.
