There is a suggestion that it is a Denial of Service Attack

Both Ancestry and FindaGrave are down as I write this

Yes it is particularly frustrating for me as I'm in receipt of fresh info almost daily now including a phone call just this minute from a Parry relative.I've got so much info to verify and more importantly fresh relatives to add!

I got in early this morning, but ancestry.co.uk is down again for me now.

Yes, I was in the middle of adding info that I got from a visit to my local FHC when it started acting up. I've had to do housework instead  :(

Those of you who have ancestry apps on tablets or phones may find that you can still access your tree if you need to check on something. I can read my tree on my Samsung telephone, but have been careful not to try updating or synching. Slightly different situation on my ipad though where I didnīt think to disable the synchronisation so it seems to have disappeared into a black hole saying "Loading""

I'd tried to get on to Ancestry Uk a bit ago, and couldn't manage it, thought it was me or my pc, as it's been a bit silly last few days... quite relieved (as another "Yorkie") to find out that it's not me! Irritating, but ... what can one do? It's not a life-or-death situation ... just can't find more about ancestors' lives and deaths!
