1943 death in Palmerston North - would the Death Certificate have the exact date of birth on it not just the age when he died.

It will just have the age at death on it, where born and it will also show how many years in NZ.   Do you have a name, that we can help you with?

www.dia.govt.nz/births-deaths-and-marriages

Then click on:Trace your family history on BDM online-

Go to "Data Collected". This provides details of what you can expect to find on printouts* /certificates.

*Printouts are cheaper, may provide more information and can be e-mailed to you.
