Gothenburg missing

While going through some parish records, I found a small footnote added to the burial records and thought I would throw it out there in case anyone was missing this gentleman. He is nothing to do with my research but he may belong to someone.

Goxhill, lincolnshire burial record.

25 May 1881, found drowned in Goxhill Haven, unknown man aged about 50 years old carrying documents saying 'Nials Pietansan of Gothenburg emmigrating to America.'

He was missing from a ship in the Humber, travelling alone on the voyage. Also carrying other documents of the same name.

It was such a small footnote but thought someone may be missing him!
