No, I am just side stepping here - William Lawrence born 1851 was the brother to my direct ancestor Eliza.  Their father ( also William ) was a pianoforte maker/tuner in Lincoln.  Rootschatters helped me find the location of William's shop in the Bail Gate Lincoln.

I am just curious as to where William junior ended up, being in the same profession as his father.  There was also a suggestion that William was a junior organist in Lincoln Cathedral at some stage.

It is odd that William and Mary and young Bernard disappeared between 1881 and 1891.
