Marriage Lookup SHORT Yoxford Area

Hi,

I'm trying to find the marriage for Walter S. Short (born abt. 1895 Yoxford), I don't know the brides name, only that he had a son Walter J. Short born abt. 1920 in Yoxford.

I know Walter S. Short was the son of Joseph Short & Rhoda Hunt.

Also his son Walter J. Short married Joyce N. Pearce in 1943 in the Blyth area (I have no details on Joyce's parents).

Any help would be appreciated.

How sure are you that Walter J born 1920's birth was in Yoxford. I can find a Walter J Short born Jun 1920, Romford Essex, mother's maiden name Stansfeld.

There are no Walter/Walter J born in Suffolk between 1919-1921.

Marriage for Walter S Short to Ninnie E Stansfeld in Romford, 1918.

Have you considered the possibility they may not have married in  Blyth district but where the bride might have lived ? 
There is a likely marriage in Norwich between Walter S Short  to a Ethel M Cunningham in 1919(4)
Ref.  4b  471.   Distance of about 25 miles.
Dates match well .

I've spoken to my Uncle, and he believes his grandmothers first name began with 'M', possibly Maud, and that she was from London. I don't know if that helps with finding the marriage for Walter S. Short?
