Trove ?

Is anyone having a problem with Trove I have been trying to search and everything comes up no results. I have just got used to using it. Take Care Lynette  ???

yes Lynette it has been misbehaving for the last 40 mins or so  :(

I guess we can't expect any maintenance overnight ...?

Yes. For the Digitised Newspapers all I'm getting is the following error message:

"The search failed, details are: The search failed in Solr."

However, I have been able to display articles that appear in Google search results. Also, other results for Books, Photos etc are still appearing.

Solr is an enterprise search server so I'd say there is something wrong with that part of their network and we'll have to wait for someone to notice and fix it.

I've tried to find some kind of outage notice on the Trove website/forum but no luck so far.

Can't say I have had issues Lynette, although I don't use it very much as I don't have ancestry there, however it is a great resource and in the past when I have used it and not found anything, I have asked others here who clearly are more proficient in using it have found information for me ( so it was me)

Why don't you add the people you are looking for and see what others can find and if they find anything on Trove ask what words they used in the search criteria

Thanks everyone I have only recently got used to using it. I have found  a lot of death notices and then found were people were buried. Not just me then.  Take care Lynette  :)

I am also having a problem, though when going into google to place information, it will come up, just not when same information is put into Trove.
