« on: Wednesday 16 July 14 14:51 BST (UK) »
Hello
I am trying to find out where Peter Wallace b.30.8.1868   d.8.08.1903   born in Great Munden and lived in Ebbing End (Hobbing End) Bennington and his wife Mary Ann  Wallace (nee Wiles) born in Little Munden b 15.10. 1871 d. 12.02.1925 are buried.
Can you help please. Many many thanks

Hi

There appear to be 2x family tress on ancrusty,
1x yours?
1x belonging to anthonybrown31?
Have you tried discussing the burials with the other owner?

Hi Ray

Thank you for your reply.

I have checked the Brown family tree and there is nothing to indicate where Peter Wallace is buried. There are quite a few trees with Peter Wallace (my great grandfather) but no luck as to where he is buried. Can you please advise if  I would find this information elsewhere.
Kind Regards
Diane (injection2u)

Do you have his death certificate - if so, where was he living?  In Benington, or somewhere else?  Have you looked at the parish records for St Peter in Benington?  Alternatively, Stevenage would seem a good bet, I assume there is a cemetery there!  :-\
Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

Hi Diane

The reason I mentioned talking to the tree owner is if they know more than is published on the tree.
Like, for example as BumbleB says, the death certificate.

As an aside, I found this on HALS . . . . .

Peter Wallace, 31 Dec 1896, Little Munden, Accused Theft, Hertford Petty Sessions, Summary conviction

If you widen the HALS search then you get a small number of "Wallace" misdemeanours  :)

Hi Mark
Hope you are well
We have spoken before.  You are my 2nd cousin.
My dad, Bill, was your dad's brother.
I have seen the grave at Ware. I went there about 3 years ago.
There is a bench there with Peters name on it
Did you know that Aunt Doddy and uncle Vic passed away in May of last year?
How are you getting on with your family research?
I haven't done much on mine just lately, but still keep dipping in and out of ancestry.co.uk
Keep in touch
Love cousin Diane
