« on: Friday 18 July 14 17:23 BST (UK) »
hi all
looking for details on the above name, he served in ww1 in the machine gun corps and the Lincolnshire regiment. his reg numbers are: m/gun corps, 15730. lincs regiment (corporal) 15222
found an address for him, 91 york street sw1.
found some remarks on a sheet of paper : Class Z. A.R. 5.3.19 ?

It might be that his pension ect. records were destroyed as only found medal card.
but any help would be most welcome.

thanks Colin :-*

Class Z. A.R. 5.3.19 ?
5.3.19 was when he was transferred to the Army Reserve (Class Z).
All men fit to serve went into this as there was no guarantee that Germany would honour the Armistice so they could be recalled at any time.
As he doesn't appear to have any impairments due to his service he probably didn't receive a pension unless he was a career soldier.
