In the box - can't get the first bit.  There were five Cadogan sisters.  Tortor may be Portia the eldest.  Mary married the Marquis of ?Blandford

At the bottom - Sister to Edwina married ? Alec Cunningham ?  Lord Delamere (Tom) had estates in Kenya where they spent six months of each year.  English home at 6 mile Bottom.

Hope that helps a bit, i am sure someone else can do better.

The Hon Mrs John Gilmour  ------ in ------, to  (SEE OVER) (this bit written 'sideways'!)
-------- ------ --------- of ------- be called TORTER

There were 5 Cadogan sisters, Torter
may be PORTIA the eldest. Mary married the
Marquis of Blandford. Portia m RT HON LORD STANLEY &
Edith m Sir or Lord Hillingden. Cynthia m  Sir
Humphrey de Trafford, the youngest was called TO TO.

Very interesting... apparently  the four girls :  Portia (ie: Sybil, b 1893),  Edith (b 1895), Cynthia (b 1896) and Mary (Alexander Mary, b 1900) &  were known as the CADOGAN square! Apparently Portia at one point had set her cap at the Prince of Wales.  Mary's husband was a Spencer-Churchill.

The 5th and youngest daughter was Victoria Louise ( b 1901) and according to the book (link1), was known as "Tor-Tor" - this  pet-name sounds like the 'Torter" written in the notation...but I think her pet-name is that written right at the end of the boxed off text (ie: TO TO).  The word or words before TO TO don't look like her name(s),  and in fact I think  the words are "was called".  She married Sir John GILMOUR in 1922 and they divorced in 1929.

Erskine:     EARL OF BUCHEN, EARL OF KELLOG
Edwina Ashley later Lady Mountbatten
Mary Ashley Cooper All Broadlands * Dec 21 1914  Ashley Cooper Earl of Shaftesbury
Mary Ashley sister to Edwina, married 1. Alec Cunningham Reid   2/ Lord Delamere (Tom)
Had estates in Kenya where they
spent 6 months of each year.
English home st 6 mile Bott---.

Mary Ashley, sister to Edwina, is actually Ruth Mary Clarisse ASHLEY who actually married  (and divorced) 3 times (the above notes appear to miss out Laurie Gardner, who was really husband nr 2, not Lord Delamere)
Alec CUNNINGHAM REID
Ernest Laurie GARDNER
Tom CHOLMONDELEY, Lord Delamere

Six Mile Bottom is a village 6 miles from Newmarket in Suffolk.  Lady Delamere inherited The Hall at Six Mile Bottom and was buried in the nearby churchyard when she died in 1986.
