Pike family at Budleigh, Devonshire

Hi, I'm trying to find out about my great-great-great grandmother's family. So far the only one of my grandparents I know of to have been born outside Scotland. Mary Ann (also spelt Marianne) Barrett Pike was born in Budleigh in 1816. She married Alexander McBay and they lived in different parts of Scotland and also spent time in Ireland. I've found a match on the Myheritage website which gives her parents as Charlotte Maria Barrett and Calomeda Hamilton Pike. I haven't been able to confirm the accuracy of this but it sounds right as Mary Ann's son also had Hamilton as a middle name. I'd be really happy if anyone could add any details thanks. Heather

Found a baptism in East Budleigh in 1814. Mother Charlotte. Father is transcribed as Calmady Pollexfen.

Calmady was buried 18 Jan 1820 age 33, which puts his birth about 1787.
