German postcard needing deciphering and possibly translating? Completed Thanks!

Hi 

Not sure if I have posted this in the correct place. I don't need any restoration on the photo just an idea on what it says. Even if it is not possible to translate the text I'm more than happy with a bit of an idea as to what's on it.

I keep trying to read it and I know it was written in Israelsdorf, which I believe is part of Lubeck. I can't make out the date. The name with the address is Heinr. Lubbe Lubeck.

Any help is much appreciated however small you may think it is

This is the front of the postcard.

The bit I can make out if Familie Lubbe and I think it says Israelsdorf again. I can't work out the first line.

Does anyone have any thoughts or ideas if I need to post elsewhere?

Dear Father! The very best wishes on your birthday. I hope your back is better again now. Today I received a card from Mr Sylten & wife and relations, a picture postcard of Barsinghausen. Have you received a card yet? He was going to send one with a view of Linderte and surroundings.

I never expected it all to be done Thank you again it's just brilliant. Now I just have to work out who sent it and how it fits into time lines and everything like that lol there will be a few more posts relating to this picture I'm sure!

The father would have been very upset having a son who sends postcards fom Lübeck to Lübeck without gratulating by himself. -
I think the postcard is stamped at Lübeck (18.10.11 4 o'clock) and was sent to Lübbecke.

Now this all gets a bit confusing lol ........So......the postcard was written in Israelsdorf  Lübeck and sent to  Lübbecke - which is a totally different place?

The thought did cross my mind, Rudolf, but I can't find any Aegi(e)dienstraße in Lübbecke...

Hello,

it is still strange for me to gratualate a father by postcard over a walking distance of 5 kilometers (1 hour) between Aegidienstraße in Lübeck and Israelsdorf.

There is Aegidienstraße 51 (I. = first floor) in Lübeck and Lübbeck (!) might be a special joke of the Lübbe family!

I have checked the addressbook 1903 (which is online):
There is only one Lübbe (roadcleaner) in Lübeck:
Friedr(ich) Wilh(elm) Aug(ust) Lübbe, Straßenreiniger, Falkenstraße 24a.
- 1911 is not online yet.


Today there is no Aegidienstraße in Lübbecke, as Adrian wrote, but there might be several name changes between 1918 and 1950. Lübbecke had been my choice number 1 because Barsinghausen and Linderte are in the same region (southwest of Hanover).
