I have some information on James and Sarah for anyone who wants it.James was born in Edgefield Norfolk England about 1866 the eldest of 9 children born to Hannah Ford and Daniel Brown he worked as an agricultural labourer.Aged 21 years he migrated to Australia aboard the Scottish Lassie on her maiden voyage. James Brown and Sarah Ann Elias married at 20 Rennie Street Williamstown Victoria in 1890, moving to Korrumburra where one of their children was born (Herbert) and later on to the coal fields at Collie, Western Australia. Sarah died in Collie aged 38 and James brought his 2 surviving children(Cyril and Herbert) back to Brunswick in Victoria. Does anyone have a death date for James? I am unable to find one.
