Searching for *, Oval / Kennington area London
« on: Saturday 26 July 14 21:42 BST (UK) »
I am trying to trace my half brother who I haven't seen since the late '70's. He would be about 67 - 68 now, I believe he worked in the building trade in London. He has a brother called (*). His fathers name is Ernest Taylor. My father was married to their mother first. I have tried leaving leaflets all around the area where he used to live in the 70's, but no-one has come forward with information, so we have to assume that he moved away some time ago, or died?. Unfortunately he has a fairly common name, and I am not absolutely sure if the spelling of Maurice is correct, and I don't know his date of birth. All I have been able to find is a marriage certificate at Wandsworth for my parents, but nothing to show his first wife's name. I have a copy of my parents marriage certificate, if that helps.
can anybody advise me on how to find out more information?
