9 December 1841 at Bloxwich - Thomas Totty of Walsall - Infancy
2 September 1850 at Bloxwich - Thomas Totty of Bloxwich - 81 years

Transcriptions and NBI are merely finding aids.  They are NOT a substitute for original record entries.

There were tottys round in blakenall, walsall when we lived there from 1958 to the 70's. I can say one was still around in 1999 because dad's friend came to his funeral.

As the 2 above Thomas tottys were buried in bloxwich all saints as per freereg site I checked my monumental inscriptions cd. These are some tottys buried in bloxwich all saints. It states memorials against the wall of Elmore green road from Hamilton entrance.

Walter totty  third son of Thomas and Mary totty died June 1818 age 16

Mary wife of Thomas totty died 12 march 1827 aged 62 years also of the above named Thomas totty died aug 29 th 1830 aged 80? Years.

Just thought I'd add those as could well be related.

Those are the the right Tottys
Thomas was b.1769 Albrighton  he married Mary Wooly at Albrighton 1796. He was apprenticed as a cooper in 1783, his marriage entry confirms his trade. The family arrived in Bloxwich sometime after 1800. (11 miles from Albrighton to Bloxwich) Mary died 1827 (b.1765) Thomas buried 2nd Sept must have died 29th Aug. the inscription or transcription is wrong, should read 1850, not 1830 mix up between 5 and 3 not unusual. age is correct 80 or 81

Thomas 2nd marriage was to Elizabeth Davenport 1840. details of this are important as they should confirm this is the right Totty.

1841 census, wife Elizabeth, Occup. Cooper.   Elmore Green.

The trade directories for the period  give him mention, 1818 gives him as victualer  and cooper at the Kings Arms
