Honolulu, Hawaii, Passenger and Crew Lists - show Beatrice Amy Luke - departing Kobe Japan arriving Honolulu, Hawaii 12 July 1957 on the Hikawa Maru. Also travelling was Percy Thomas Luke and a son (same name as the message board post above)

Also a similar entry 22 September 1955 departing Tokyo to Honolulu, Hawaii - Beatrice /Sung and Kan/Jung

UK Incoming Passenger List for J O Gauntlett - born 1906 and aged 21 years - student going to C T Gauntlett C/O The Chantry Berwick On Tweed. Yokohama, Japan to London England - 23 August 1927 on the Hakozaki Maru.

C T Gauntlett was Charles Trevor Gauntlet - his Uncle born 1869 Glamorgan, Wales. Died 30 December 1935 in  Berwick Upon Tweed, Northumberland.
Charles had been a teacher of music.

Probate 9 April 1936 Newcastle Upon -Tyne  - Charles Trevor Gauntlett of 6 Bankhill Berwick on Tweed. £5530- 9s 7 d.

The other brother John Henry Lainson Gauntlett was a Professor of Music died 19 November 1940.
Probate 14 January 1941 - Joh Henry lainson of berry Lodge Farm Malvern Wells Worcestershire died at The Public Assistance Institution Upton On Severn Worcestershire. Probate Birmingham to Wilfred Trevor Gauntlett, electrical insulator. Effects £ 321 10s 5d.

George Trevor Wykeham Gauntlett born 1917 Tokyo Japan. Travelling Yokohama, Japan to San Francisco arriving 20 July 1939 on the Tatuta Maru.  Student. Father Edward Gauntlett, 845 Totsuka, Machi. 4Chrome.  ???  Tokyo.  England via New York.
