Have you contacted the archivist for his Regiment? They might be able to help.

I am in fact trying to find a photo for a man who contacted me from Canada through Ancestry.
He has written articles on the men in the Regiment who died in Italy on the Hitler line for their Anniversary. He was in fact in this regiment himself after the war. I think he has contacted all the possible avenues and he has had no success.
I said I would help him try to find a photo to go with his biography of Wilfred.

He might be listed in several trees on ANC***RY,

I tried the access via MUNDIA, but got no connection to the trees in the Mundia-listing ...

Thank you all for your help and suggestions.
He is listed on Ancestry but no one has a photograph.
I have contacted libraries and a Heritage Centre in the Barrowford area but so far I have had no luck.
