I have been researching my partner's ancestors and have found that his GGG Grandmother was called Penuel - which is quite an unusual name. I was wondering if anyone else has this name in their family as, given the Scots naming pattern, it should permeate through multiple generations. In fact one of his more distant relations has the middle name Phanuelina, which I am assuming comes from the same root.
His GGG grandmother's surname was MARTIN, and she was from the Aberdeenshire area. Does anyone have any connections?
