Bermuda to Liverpool pre-1861

I am looking for any record of Joseph Henry Thomas, born Bermuda 1838, arriving in Liverpool.  I believe he was a Seaman/Mariner.  He married in Liverpool in 1861.   Would like to know the name of the ship/shipping line he arrived on.  I believe the Elder Dempster line was active in those days.   Can anyone help?  Thanks in anticipation.  Jazgran

UK Incoming Passenger Lists tend to start in 1890!

Earlier lists were destroyed!! :o

As far as I can tell, Ancestry has some Crew Lists from 1863 - but only those from Dorset and Glasgow? ::)
