Agree with above & similar for 1901.

The daughter Bridget is shown as born in Ireland 1881/2, looking at the Irish Civil Registration Birth Index there are 5 entries for Bridget Baggot/t between 1880 & 1883 in various parts of Ireland. These can be accessed on Familysearch for free. The individual certificates can be purchased and will show the parents names & location at the time of the birth.

Thank you for your reply, I originally thought this was my G grandmother Bridget family, but is not, think James was brother to her father, The census was from my notes, many years ago, but did not include POB, am possibly trying to establish a brother connection.

There is a tree with some confusing information but this is included there for that chap

You probably have your family on a thread elsewhere, if so can you give a link. If not do you have details please? It may help to have a look over it.

Now looking at son Patrick, 1891 shows his date of birth as 1874 & born Ireland.

Searching for Patrick’s birth there are 5 possibilities +/- 2 years.

There is only one of these which matches in location with Bridget:

Patrick Baggott 1873 Limerick, Vol 10 Page 499.
Bridget Baggott 1882 Limerick Vol 5 Page 406

These would be a good starting point for further research / certificates.

This could help answer the question of the origins of the family in St Helens 1891/1901, I am not familiar with previous posts about this family so don't know what has been said before.
