John Alexander Reid

Hi Folks,

              I am looking for help please in finding the date of death for the above, all I know is he passed away after 1918, he was my wife's grandfather and was believed to have owned a Pub in Montrose, his father was Peter Reid and his mother was Ann Swan, John was born at St.Cyrus 1888.

His first wife was Jane Petrie and she died in 1917 at Montrose, however he remarried but we don't know who she was. I have tried Scotlandspeople but really can't get anywhere using plenty of credits.

If anyone can help me find his second marriage and his death it would be fantastic and help fill a hole in the Family Tree.

When was John Reid born? Knowing his date of birth will help narrow down a search.

He was born 1888 St Cyrus and is on the 1891 1901 census forms J M its the second marriage and death Archie is looking for which can only be found on S P
