Sorry, but I get lots of info out of the sites I use. (9 sites I use)
One goes back, if you are very lucky with names, to the 1700's
I have 7 records this time all to the Logan's 1850 Bible request message.
I am waiting for the requester to reply.
4 are Presbyterian and 3 are Church of Ireland, all in Derry.
I am new to this site.
Maggsie

What kind of records do you have?

Hi,
There are some Arthurs and Logans associated with Bovevagh and Dungiven Presbyterian Churches. The earliest Arthur I can find is 1852 and the earliest Logan is 1824.

Regards

King - Do you know anything else about these Arthurs and Logans from 1852 and 1824? Names, birth dates, etc?

Neat! My Logan's/ Arthur's left Ireland in the 1850's. All I know about my Logan's is that they lived in Londonderry County, and that the Arthur's lived somewhere near St. Guaire's Parish Church which is in Aghadowey.

Maybe you have read my first post on this page about my Logan's. Do you have any suggestions on how to find more information from Ireland on this line or the Arthur line?

Hi,
Sorry but I have no more information. I just picked up on your reply, No.19, and checked some local church records. By the way I do not recognise a townland called Ballyhagan in the parish of Dungiven. There is a Ballyharigan but it is in the parish of Bovevagh.

Hey Aghadowey, I have read post #3 but I don't get what you're trying to saw, are you trying to say the Arthur's didn't live near St Guaires?

I don't know for sure that they did, but the bible I have of Sarah Jane Arthur was signed my Thomas Reddy in 1854 and like I said before I tracked him to the church in St Guaires in 1854.

Am I missing something?

I see. Where is Cah? Is it near St Guaires at all? Is there documentation of this, or is this info just from ancestry?
