Hoping for some assistance please.  The attached clipping is taken from the East India Cadetship Application in 1842 in which the place of education included what seems to me to be Teneiglian School.

I have googled this school without any success which leads me to wonder if I have the correct spelling?

Its the Feinaiglian Institute - The main school was in Aldborough House Portland St Dublin from 1814-1830's. Founded by Gregor Von Feinaigle who devised a new method of education.  If you google either you will find a lot of information.

Thanks so much annclare.  Much appreciated and I can see my transcription was nothing like the original.   ;D

Googled the school and most interesting.

Aldborough House is located on Portland ROW in Dublins North Inner city..at the moment its lying derelict (shameful).
It was purchased by a Professor Von Feingle after Lord Stratford who built the house died in 1801..(The house had lain idle for apprx 12 years after Aldboroughs death)
Von Feingle who was from Luxembourg used a system of memory training which was very successful.
Von Feinaigle died in 1830 and the Govt took the House over.
