census 1851 lookup please
« on: Monday 18 August 14 17:27 BST (UK) »
Hi all,

Looking for Charles Henry Poole/Hall census 1851. Born 1840 Woodford.
He was with his grandfather Joseph Poole and Aunt Elizabeth Poole census 1841 in Woodford Bridge.
Wondering if he was still with granddad or aunt in 1851. I just realised that Charles might be a Halls now since his mum married Joseph Halls in 1842.

any help grately appreciated.

Windley: Woodford Essex, Chigwell Essex, Blackmore Essex.
Halls: Chigwell and Woodford, Essex
Ambrose and Corteling: Sri Lanka

That looks likely ... Elizabeth did have a Harriet Eliza, about the same age as Charles. Both girls did well after shaky starts then! ;-)
