Just to throw something else into the mix -

Weston isn’t/wasn’t common in the Dingwall area. In fact there’s only one appears in 1911 in the whole of Ross and Cromarty and her name is Constance. She is 11 years old and living in Resolis (not too far from Dingwall). I haven’t opened the census to see who she is living with but she marries in Kiltearn in the 30’s to a Charles Fraser (son of William Fraser and Annie Macdonald). She died in Dingwall in 1965.

Just to set the record straight, although it doesn't help your research much.....
There was an Albert Place in Dingwall.
Along with Victoria Place and other roads, it was demolished to make way for the Dingwall Relief Road and extension of Council Offices in the 70s.

Thanks Agneshill, I was going to mention that but forgot. Warden street was another that was demolished and Grant street has very few houses remaining, although it is still there.

Possibly nothing, as it is nls maps they open. I suppose it's what I've got used to and I find the user interface good to use for me.

Ah, right, thank you. Too bad - I had visions of lots of 'new' old maps to pore over.
