Hello Diane,
You request info on the Snells of Cardiff. I knew quite a few Snells through my association with the Salvation Army. There was an Albert Snell who lived in Canton. He had 2 sons. One Clifford died a few years ago and his other son Malcolm is a S.A. officer. Then there was a brother of Albert, I've forgot his name who had a daughter Kathleen. Hope this is a small help.

I think Malcom Snell was the Salvationm Army corps officer at Chelmsford around 1960. His wife was Sweish.  Derek
