Census - 'family checks'
« on: Wednesday 29 June 05 13:03 BST (UK) »
I have some more additional information on the Armstrongs I'm researching. I had the following information:

Sydney Armstrong, born 13.10.06. He married Elsie Hughes in 1930.

I've now found that he had (at least)  2 brothers, Walter and Edwin, and 2 sisters, Winnie and Roma.. Mother was called Rosanna and lived to be 99.

With this information (or similar groups), is there a way to search for family groups or is it a matter of individual searches and then lots of x-referencing to see if there are any matches?

Thanks

Damien

Hi Damien

The only way you'll find them in family groups is if they are part of somebody else's research ie.

If Rosanna died post 1969 then her date of birth should be in the index and her date and place of birth should be on the death certificate as supplied by the person who registered the death.

Best wishes
