Only censuses I can find for Catharine are 1861 Crofts of Tulloch Aberdeenshire
John Sinclair 42 saw miller Fyvie
Amelia 32 chapel of Georie
John 10
Catharine 7
Amelia 4
George 2
David 8 mths.
She's left home by 1871 and is at Upper Balfour Tullynessle and Forbes as Kathrine Sinclair 16 born Keig general servant. Her brother George age 12 ag lab  is also there for a William (age 45 born Tullynessle )and his mother Isabella Reid(age 75) farmer.
Going by that I'd go for her being at Waterside Farm in 1881 at Tullynessle again as a servant, age 27 from Oyne.
No sign of John but I assume Catherine would have married by 1891.

Hello everyone
First  I think?? [not confirmed yet]   John and Amelia were Catherine's parents   not John's parents tho we think John was illegitimate Catherine defiant was his mother I had John and Amelia  names scribbled down with lots of ???? marks
Maureen were is it listed I have not seen that [I don't have access to Ancestry]
John was alive in 1891 He was at a place called Roadside farm so I know he was alive then
after that I lose him and cant find his mother
