Thanks Leonie
i do have the inquest into Annie Kemp - very interesting as 3 doctors debated whether it was murder or self-inflicted. I would like to get the police records of what happened between Thomas and Anne My 98 year old mother remembers Anne (her grandmother) and Pauline, who gave evidence at her mother's trial and her sister's case. Pauline and her husband both died young and their 3 children were orphans. One of Anne's sons was involved in a scandal at Swan Boys Orphanage  and his son went on to become a Rhodes scholar and an Oxford Don. You and Dundee have been so helpful. I still wonder about the intervening 5 years - I hope they had some luck at last. i will open the wills tomorrow now that i know how.

Thanks to the work of as many as 6 Rootschatters, my original question about what happened to the orphaned children has been answered and I really got a lot more than I had hoped for. Thank you all very much and i guess this can be considered solved and closed.
