When was Emily born? And when did the family emigrate? What other children did they have?

DeBoo - London
Green - Suffolk
Parker - Sussex
Kemp - Essex
Farrington - Essex
Boniface - West Sussex

He was definitely a lay preacher.  On Emily's marriage registration, her religion is listed as methodist.
From Canadian census and family word of mouth.  He did many things.
He was a bookmaker, a newsagent, a groundskeeper for a school..
He did a lot of military service/militia.  Fought in Canada's Northwest Rebellion.

George and Annie Vennell had a daughter Emily Elizabeth Vennell. (unless rumours were true and she is "adopted").  There were also rumours her name was Rose White.
Emily Elizabeth Vennell married William Dove Hare in Toronto in 1879.
Emily would be my great grandmother.

All I know is that Emily was born in England. (from her marriage registration).

I realize this is a needle in a haystack.

I have a George, Annie and Emily Vennell arriving in Canada in 1870.

Oh Wow!  I just noticed on her death certificate that her mothers maiden name was White.
I am not sure how I missed that!

According to her death certificate, she was born January 31 1859 in England.

There is no knowledge of other siblings.

Thank you so much for you help and suggestions.
I am thinking now, the Rye, Sussex George and family is what I will look into most.
Your help is very much appreciated.

I think you will be wasting your time looking into the George from Rye.  As I pointed out earlier is is still in Wallington in 1871 and by then your George is in Canada.
Look on freebmd and see what you can find re a birth for Emily/Rose - look under Vennell and White as she may have been illegitimate.
