Burial or Cemetery look up Please - Plymouth
« on: Thursday 30 June 05 00:57 BST (UK) »
Hello

I am looking for the Burial record, Cemetery Record &/or M.I. of Nathaniel Thomas FRANCE Commander R.N.  The family were originally in Brixham, at least until 1808 when there youngest child was baptised.

It appears that his wife Susanna was a widow in the 1841 Census, living independantly with 2 unmarried daughters, at -
Belair Place, Charles the Martyr, Plymouth.

I am hoping to find any record of their deaths.

I would be very grateful for any help

Hi , there is a possibility that your ancestors are buried at Ford Park Cemetery in Plymouth.  Why don't you go to their website.  They do a search for graves (they charge about £7.00) and you may be able to request this on line.  It is the largest Victorian Cemetery in Plymouth.  Alternatively, you may be able to contact the West Devon Records Office (telephone number 01752-30594).  They are very helpful and may be able to give you some info on the phone and they hold records of Plymouth graves .  Regards Sybilla
