Hello Robin from siobhain (falloon, cullen) thomas - also looking for family from Belfast

Just to say that "carrick" is anglicised from "carraig" meaning
rock as far as I remember so Carrickfergus would probably be
"the Rocky area belonging to the clan of Fergus" though Im not sure I remember it being nr Belfast

I am fairly new too, also enquiring on behalf of my dad 82, but have already found out masses of background general stuff inc street indexes and census returns for Belfast - I can point you in the right direction if you like

From my own position I can say that I have come to believe that the whole of NZ is populated by Falloons!!!!

I will bear the Gallagher name in mind next time I am scouring
a list for Cullens and Falloons - I am usually online every sat at this time and would be happy to share stories/info with you or your gran

happy looking and kind regards,
siobhain

Hi Robin,

I'm  a Sydneysider. I know Lake Macquarie fairly well. My son has has participated in the Loop the Lake cycle event a few times.

I love the sound of Wilsons Downfall -- wonderful Aussie name.

I'm glad you are enjoying the site Robin. ;D

Regards
Darcy
