According to the tree, Edward Casson died tragically in 1861

Emma (Owen) is mentioned on the probate record for Louisa Casson as her sister.

According to the tree, Edward Casson died tragically in 1861

There are newspaper articles stating that Edward took his own life...........how sad.

There's an Emma Owen b Portsea with husband Ebenezer also at the asylum in 1861 - he is the superindendent.

....but we still haven't discovered where the Elkins fits in for Norman's tree.

We could be doing all this wonderful research which might have nothing to do with Norman.

Maybe we should wait for his return and reply.
